During a 25-year career at Deere & Co., Jim managed operations of John Deere Healthcare, Deere's managed care subsidiary. One of the original developers who designed an eight-state, multi-delivery system organization starting with $3.5 million in capital, he has extensive knowledge of and experience with underwriting, contracting and physician relations issues. He has played an active role in the national industry organizations, and, during his leadership at John Deere Healthcare, Consumer Reports Magazine named that organization the leading HMO nationwide in customer satisfaction.
